Start with the essentials
Write down the business name customers recognize, your public contact email, and the places you serve. Keep your billing details separate from the address or contact information you want customers to see.
Describe how you work
Explain what you sell and how customers receive it: collection, delivery, an event or a service at their location. Include whether you work alone or with a team. Describe your actual workflow rather than choosing tools just because they are available.
Bring useful materials
Gather a current menu, product list, service descriptions and a logo you are authorized to use. Mark outdated prices or photos so they are not accidentally reused. If you have an existing website, record its address and who controls its domain.
Check before continuing
Read your business name and email carefully. Note any unanswered questions for setup support. Never include passwords, payment-card details or private customer records in free-text notes.
