Define the service
Describe what is included, where you work, the expected duration and what the customer must provide. Identify capacity and scheduling constraints. A service description should make clear whether a request is an enquiry or an immediately confirmed booking.
Gather the requirements
Ask for the date, location, number of people and any access or service requirements. Check these against your actual availability. Where a booking module is part of your setup, inspect its recorded state rather than inferring confirmation from a calendar entry alone.
Confirm the scope
Prepare the agreed service details and price using the supported quote or booking process. Explain assumptions and anything awaiting confirmation. Keep agreement, deposit and scheduled service states distinct.
Handle changes
Record the customer's requested change and assess its effect on price, timing and capacity before accepting it. Use the supported update process and confirm the revised arrangement to the customer. If the workflow does not support the requested change, seek help rather than deleting the original record.
