Invite people and choose their access

Give colleagues individual access suited to their responsibilities.

Updated

Plan the role

List what the person needs to do and which business or location they should work in. Reading reports, preparing food and managing account access are different responsibilities. Use the narrowest available access that lets them do their job.

Send an individual invitation

An authorized business administrator should invite the person's own email address through the membership controls. Check the address and role before sending. Never share the owner's password or forward an existing member's sign-in link.

Confirm acceptance

Ask the recipient to check the business and invited role before accepting. Verify the membership state afterwards; an invitation being sent does not mean it has been accepted. If it expires, use the supported replacement process instead of changing the recipient's identity.

Review and remove access

Revisit access when responsibilities change or someone leaves. Remove membership or permissions through the supported controls, and separately review any external accounts they could access. If a needed permission is unavailable, ask for help rather than granting unrelated administrator access.
