Connect, reconnect or disconnect a business channel

Authorize the right account and understand what removing access changes.

Updated

Check support and identity

Confirm that the channel is offered in your workspace and that you have authority over the business account or page. A proposed integration or a familiar provider logo is not proof that your account is connected.

Follow the provider's sign-in and consent flow, checking the selected business identity and requested access. Use your own authorized account. Do not give Chyve or a teammate the provider password as a substitute for a supported connection.

Reconnect deliberately

If a connection expires or is revoked, review the affected account and reconnect through the supported route. Check whether scheduled or failed actions need separate attention afterwards. Reconnecting does not prove an earlier publication was delivered.

Disconnect and verify

Review pending work before removing the connection, then confirm the disconnected state. Previously published material may remain on the external service and require a separate action there. If you revoke access at the provider, check the state in Chyve as well.
