Give each offering a clear name
Choose a customer-facing name that identifies the item. If sizes or portions differ, state that clearly in the description. Keep internal preparation notes separate from information intended for customers.
Define the portion and price
Record what one purchased unit means: one loaf, one tray, one meal or another specific quantity. Check the currency and selling price. A tray price and a per-person price should not be used interchangeably.
Review the description
Explain what the customer receives and any choices they need to make. Check ingredient and dietary information against your actual recipe and supplier information. Do not assume a template description reflects your ingredients.
Check availability before sharing
Confirm that you can supply the offering during the advertised period. When something changes, review every place where the item is described, including your menu, website and social posts.
