Keep each location’s hours and access correct

Check location context before applying a schedule or staff change.

Updated

Identify the location

Confirm the business and specific location before editing hours, fulfillment or people. Two branches may use similar names but have different timezones, opening patterns and capacity. Use the location's own facts rather than copying another branch without review.

Review the schedule

Check normal hours, one-off exceptions, lead time and service methods for that location. Test a representative customer time at the correct address. A change to one location should not be assumed to update every other location.

Review staff scope

Give team members the supported access needed for their assigned work. Confirm what they can actually view and change after acceptance. If a role cannot express the intended boundary, ask for guidance rather than granting wider access and relying on a verbal instruction.

Investigate a mismatch

Record the location, timezone and intended action before contacting support. Check whether you are viewing a business-wide record or a location-specific one. Do not move records between locations merely to make a report or schedule look correct.
